Use Baking Soda To Make Your Own Deodorant
Making deodorant at home isn't a complicated undertaking. Why would anybody want to make deodorant? Because making your own deodorant will help you avoid aluminum toxicity.
Some type of aluminum can be found in almost all retailed deodorant and antiperspirant products. As an ingredient, aluminum helps neutralize odor and block pores. However, once it is in your body, aluminum serves as a neurotoxin (brain poison) that has been associated with breast cancer, Alzheimer’s disease along with other degenerative conditions.
Crystal deodorant stones are thought to be a safer alternative. These contain a different substance referred to as potassium alum or potassium aluminum sulfate. A naturally occurring salt, these molecules are thought to be too big to pass all the way through the skin. Cancer patients are often told to use these instead of products that contain aluminum.
There's, however, an even healthier alternative than this. For a few cents, you are able to make your own deodorant using ingredients you might have inside your cupboard. Even when it is necessary to purchase the few materials required, the amounts are so limited that it is no large expense to secure them. This simple natural recipe will also benefit your health by helping you keep away from aluminum.
Assemble the following: 4 Tbsp Arm & Hammer baking soda (doesn't have aluminum), four Tablespoons of arrowroot powder, a little less than one half cup of Coconut oil, two Tbsp of beeswax beads and 10 drops of your preference of essential oil (optional).
Note: Coconut oil fights odor with its anti-microbial qualities while moisturizing and adding nourishment to your skin layer. Essential oils can help eradicate odors, but take care that they are not processed with harsh chemical extraction techniques which may irritate the skin. Lavender, tea tree oil, citrus oils and frankincense have attributes which help do away with odors.
Instructions:
1. Gently warm the coconut oil and beeswax to a liquid state.
2. Blend the baking soda & arrowroot powder using a fork.
3. Bit by bit add the baking soda & arrowroot powder to the coconut oil and wax, working it in with a fork till thoroughly combined.
Your deodorant will have a firm paste-like texture, pretty much like commercial deodorant. The paste will continue to solidify while it cools. More arrowroot might be added if it seems too damp or mushy. The beeswax helps it maintain its form even during hot weather. Should it become cold and too firm, place the container inside a pocket to warm for a few minutes before use.
Store this in a screw-top wide-mouth jar. Most pharmacies have salve or balm jars in their travel container section. This enables each member of the family to have a single jar.
Producing about one cup, this recipe (with daily use) can last a single person several months.

1975 loweline boat info?
I am trying to find info on my grandfathers old fishing boat. I know that loweline boats changed to lowe boats i think in the early 80's. His old boat is a 1975 loweline 15' stick steer alum. Any info or websites would be a help. Thanks
